I realized the other day that the Bose system is not a terrible acoustic system.

The head unit reproduces FM/AM stations horribly.

 

Don't fret, for all audio sources through this BLOSE system sounds like AM/FM

 

hopefully the stock upgraded bose system in the next generation G is better, perhaps closer to the system in the M?

 

That would be nice - I did here the 14 Speaker DTS 7.1 version in the M45, and it was decent. Not quite the Mark Levinson in a Lexus, or B&O in the new Audi RS4, but it was a world better than then crap BLOSE system that's installed now.

 

I bet Paul Harvey likes his Blose system!

Yes, its hard to believe that people paid $900 extra for that junk. I have the bone stock, non-bose system in my 03.5 sedan and I am still amazed at how good it sounds. I think the G35 is the only car I have ever known where the premium sound system is worse than the base system. But it is still one of the unsolved mysteries of the universe how a company like Bose can still be in business making total crap for so long.

 

No highs, no lows? Must be BOSE!

 

Could not agree more, but I have this system only because of a bundled package. Infiniti needs to get w/the program real fast, for they are being left far behind. I'm waiting to see what the new G37 is like, if it's still has junk like this crap Bose system installed, I'll be ordering up the IS350.

Dude i sat in my cousins 2004 sedan with basic sound system, that thing suxxx ***. I cant imagine how depressed i would be if i had that car and listening to that crapy *** system day by day.
That only decent none permium sound that i experienced is the 2004+ maximas.

 

my g35's bose systems trounces on my 2k2 maxima's non-bose (even with uprades to some nice jbl's on the max).... i'm happy for now, despite the overly strong mids of the bose....

 

The G's system sounds a hell of a lot better than the 03 Maxima Bose system I just traded in. Which isn't saying that much. An improvement, nonetheless. But what do you expect when the head unit is made by AudioVox. BOSE will sale its name to anyone.

 

Wow, that's odd. Cause my '03 Alti Bose system had a much better sound than my 05 G Bose. Go figure......
