Yeah I'd do the overlays if the cost is less than the paint work.

any updates?

I was thinking that Bat could also put a overlay behind the door handle, that way, your passengers wont scratch up our paint with their nails when they open the door. It will also feel better...since scratching the paint with your nails really hurts!!!

If you wanted to do IP couldn't you get someone to make overlays in a generic white, install them and then have a body shop paint over the vinyl?

Just curious

That sounds like an Idea! I have a set of overlay material I am not using. I will paint it black and cut it for my doors. I will post pictures sometime later

I would go for that to. Just got my 06 sedan and hated the chrome.

I have a black G

I think the door trim should stay chrome. it gives it class and style. its even a nice thick chrome, much better then the ones they trim a BMW or lexus with.

as for the door handles, I would love to have a black overlay that would be easily removeable.

yea, I am not to sure about blacking out the whole thing (thats why I like the overlays) but I am 100% sure that the chrome door handles have to go. I think they look feminent
