Blue Batmobile G35 Chrome Window Molding Overlays

Hey whats up guys, I asked bluebatmobile if he would be able to make an overlay for our chrome window molding trim and door handles. There are a few people here that have painted it black which looks really, as well as body-color matching the chrome door handles. I say this is the way the car should have been from the factory. He needs interest in this for him to make this overlay, so reply with your thoughts if interested. Thanks.

Looks good on black but wouldn't work with any other color unless they are offered in body color...

I love the idea but I agree that I would want DG to match my paint. BlueBatMobile, would this even be possible? If so, I would be very interested.

i like the idea of the "black out."

I would really like to black out the chrome window frame sections. I don't mind the door handles or the strip at the botom of the windows, though.

There's only a few color's Bat can make them in to color match. He doesnt have a color to match IP because we were going to make my reverse light overlays white so it would look like they werent there but it wasnt even close to a match. Another good idea would be to just use his carbon fiber look overlay on the chrome trim and the B pillar, that would look pretty good.

My question is can those moldings be removed and the car stil be able to be driven so I can have them painted? I have no clue on how those come off so I thought I ask.

Yeah the vinyl overlays come off. Just heat them up a little and they'll peel off. That's whats good about the overlays, if you want to change it for a different style you can just take it off.

After looking at the pic again I realized I had forgotten about the black on the B pillars. Maybe all black would good with tinted windows on a diamond graphite. As a result, I revise my above position, I would be interest in the black if I could see it first on a DG sedan.

I would think the door handles would still need to be color matched to look right.

i think it looks better this way, but the door handles should definitely be matches to body color. The window molding should have been black from factory, it looks much better this way. With enough interest, we can get bat to make these for us for a much cheaper price than getting them painted at a body shop. and on top of that, if you want to remove them, they u can very easily.
