All of the other rear shots indicate G35x.

Call who has the car and flat out ask them whats up with that pic? Ask if it was wrecked.

If you guys look, the Gx5 appears on all pics with the plate in the plate holder, but the G35X appears in pics where the plate is in the window...Seems like they repainted it, which is the reason for the relocation of the plate and the rebadging...maybe the car was at the dealership, something happened to the bummper and they fixed it...it would indicate why there is no reports of it...or it was in an accident and they decided to go outside of insurance...

Off topic...but looking at the pics the rear driver side door sill is the only on with the blue cover on it still...my car came like that too...is that what they all have? and yes i did take off that blue thing...

Thumbs down

That's too goofy to not require clarification from the seller.

Note that the "Gx5" shot is taken with the dealer plate mounted and the rest of the images were taken with the plate on the interior's rear deck.

Lame conspiracy theory, yes. But, trust...then verify.

Also...

on the car fax it says that it was register as a rental car by a "major rental company".

you should be aware that the standard Infiniti consumer warranty does not apply to commercially registered and rental cars.

Well, it was definitely a rental car or possibly the dealer demo? Either way, you should be able to get out of it if you want to because the eBay listing clearly states existing warranty and if the Infiniti warranty is not extended to you then the seller lied.

Yeah, check it out with Inifiniti. This is why I'd never buy a car off ebay. Too many scammers on little things already. Have you checked cars.com? I found my 6MT there and paid $4,500 under "blue book" at a local dealer. Got one hell of a deal. They're out there.

I called the dealer, and he said when he bought the car from an auction the "G35x" emblem was missing and he ordered it and put it on the car. The guy who put it on, did it wrong and he noticed while taking the pictures. Thats why some of the pictures are different, but he got it corrected at the dealer. Then finished taking the pictures. I dont know what to believe but thats his story. I am going to go pick the car up on Friday, so i'll let you guys know how it is.

Sounds like a pretty lame explanation to me. Car salesman can be some pretty shady characters, I'd take that story for a grain of salt.
