Anyone have a 5mm spacer with the 18" Sport wheels?

And what kind of spacer do I need? I've never had the wheels off so I don't know if they are a studded spacer or not. And where is a good place to buy from?

Thanks.

So the spacers will put you at + 56 or + 36? I hope +36, as it seems like +56 may rub with them installed, no?

Are they the typical spacers... just a thin disc with holes in it or is it a disc with studs? Can you post a pic?

Did you get 5mm front and rear? Did they come with new lug nuts/bolts?

Please, if you would, post some pics and if the install went okay.

I have the 5mm spacer only in the front. Only thing bad I have to say about the spacers is that it seems to make my stearing wheel a little shaky on the road, but other than that its fine.

It shouldn't do that. Are they hubcentric? Did you make sure they are torqued down properly? It should be as smooth as before. I've never had this issue with spacers before.

Hey lou,

If possible please take some pictures of the spacer itself and the installation, since I am interested in putting a 5mm/10mm spacer for my stock rims..

With regards to the shaking..
No, It should NOT happen at all.. yet, I doubt if a 5mm spacer can be hubcentric (a photo of the spacer will tell if it is hubcentric or not)

I will take some pics but I ran into a setback this weekend. I might have to change out my bolts for the supplied ones. I don't think my OEM bolts are long enough to get the proper turns on the bolt nuts. The instructions recommend a minimum of 7 turns on the nuts and Im only getting about 4 or 5 turns in the front...and about 3 or 4 in the rear.

Yes the kits comes with 2 spacers and 10 bolts.
