Hey, after doing some research and talking with a few of the other members on the forum, I am going to be going with the UNREVISED 350z OEM springs for my 05 "x". That is what has been recommended. The stiffer revised springs(04.5+) are too stiff and will wear out the stock shocks faster.

I would actually think that the stiffer springs would be better. Having softer springs puts more load on the shock because the spring will "give" more over bumps and dips, etc. This, I think, would cause the car to "porpoise" over bumps(bounce). Am I missing something?

well actually, if u really think about it...the 03-04 springs have the same spring rate, but just lower, thats y u have the 1 inch drop..

04-05 springs are stiffer, which the stock shocks cannot handle, and so thats why you have the bumpy, because of the shocks are being warn out..

thats you u have to replae the shocks quicker..

but tats my assumption..ehehhe

After a couple of recommendations from a few members on the board, I ordered the 03 Unrevised 350z OEM springs last night. Should get them in a couple of days and I hope to have them installed by the end of the month.

YeahDickey, since we both have an 05x and I got the unrevised and you got the revised, I think that we should post up a review after about a week or 2 of driving on the springs. This way we can try and figure out if one is alittle better or not. This might help out other X owners.

I will be running 19x8 with 245/40/19s. I am putting my rims on along with the springs. Right now I am on stock 17s.
