Eibachs or 350z springs?

Hey guys im some what new to this forum when it comes to posting threads. I have an 05 DG with sport suspension and was wondering which set of springs people prefer the Eibachs or the 350z and are there any difference in performance between the two? Also does anyone know how much the 350z springs drop the sedan? any suggestion are greatly appreciated. Thanks

Eibachs. I've had them both and the eibachs look better and ride A LOT smoother. The 350z does have much better turn in and less body roll though, but for me I'd prefer the more stock like ride.

ONLY get the Eibachs if the springs rates are the same as your sport springs. Otherwise your shocks will be toast in a very short amount of time.

I'm putting on my 350Z springs on Tuesday... look on this forum for a post, pics and my thoughts on the "upgrade".

I'm highly critical mods and I absolutely love my 350Z (front)/Coupe (rear) spring setup. The drop is 1" all around and the ride is actually better than it was than with the Sport springs. I really couldn't tell you why either. I hate harsh or bouncy rides and this setup has none of that. Overall, I spent $120 for a full set of 350Z and Coupe springs.

So if i was to go with the Eibachs, after a period of time my stock shocks will need to be replaced? But the 350z springs tend to not have as much of a strain on the stock shocks?

It's all about spring rates. The shocks are tuned for a specific spring. If the springs are to stiff, the shocks will wear out much faster because they are underdamped.

That's why a lot of guys are going with the 350Z springs. They have the same spring rate but are 1" lower. But you have to make sure if you can use the revised or unrevised versions.

Don't bother sticking this thread.

Just stick this one https://g35driver.com/forums/showthr...ht=350z+shocks
