Lowering My 05 G35x

ok, been doing some research really havent found the answer i'm looking for. ok already got the rims i want. going with the VR GT-V 19X8.5. Now i'm not looking for no big drop. am i better off just getting the tein type-h springs or should i get the 350z revised springs i've been reading about. also really havent found anything but are there full coilover setups for 35X?

There are no springs, coilovers, or shock/struts made for the X. I am in the same bought. I am trying to find the most close to correct way to lower my X. You can use any spring for the X but some people have had problems. I know that some X's have been lowered on the tein S-tech, h-tech and the eibach springs as well as the OEM 350z suspension.

Tonight on Sports Car Revolution, they will be discussing the G again-

They installed the springs last week, though they didn't have the right shocks. We'll see what they turn up-

I'm no suspension expert. From what I've read on this site, the Z springs do not drop the G as low as the others. I think most problems are linked to the oem shocks not being able to perform correctly, so the Z springs are just "less bad". Some one needs to make shocks and springs. They would have a corner on the market. I guess a lot of AWD cars are not moded??? From other posts stock sedan vs stock awd sedan shows the awd performing better at the track. Seems auto-x'ers would be interested in the G35x.

The only mod I really want to do is sway bars and drop it one inch. I can't do either. Crap. I even like my 17 inch rims. I just want to corner w/ much less body roll.

Disclaimer: Again, I'm not a guru in regards to susp mods....so if I'm wrong, please accept my apologies.

yeah..the Z does not drop the sedan as much as the others. The Z springs drop the sedan about 1 inch so it would drop the X like 1.4-1.5 inches since we sit higher up.

Not much. They drove the cars, they of course handled better. However, they offered very little in the way of details. Not impressed with this segment. However, they are usually pretty good. I sent an e-mail asking for a parts list.

Honestly, I don't think that they ever installed shocks on the X.

Do you know where I can find a detailed suspension diagram?

Yeah they should fit on your "X". That should give you the drop that you are looking for.
