so, i'm in the middle of buying some wheels and tires for my lovely sedan..

wanna know if this is a good setup?

Front: 245/35/19
Rear: 265/30/19

with an offset of 35

I want the widest lip as possible for front and back..

Yes, this will be dropped, just ordered my 03 350z springs and debating on the shocks..

o yea, i'm planin on getting some axis hiro, not the best but I love the style

what widths? i'm guessin 8.5/9.5? i think the rear may not work at +35, but lucky for you axis can do custom offsets in those widths. i think you should also be able to go wider on the rear, but that's up to you

I hope you have at least a 9.5" in rear with 265mm wide tires. +35 *might* be too aggressive and might rub the outside, +38 or higher offset might be better.

What is the rim width up front? 8.5" would be a good fit for 245mm wide tires.

The set up you want for the HIROS is this:

19x8.5 +35 w/ 245/35/19
19x9.5 +45 w/ 275/30/19

Axis has those offsets available. That will be as flushed as you can be without rubbing or having to modify your fenders before or after you lower your car.

BTW, Axis does not make custom offsets. These are 1 pc. cast wheels.

not to nitpick, i just went off their page. i suppose tho it could just as easily mean bolt pattern

The reason for this, there was a package deal for 2300 with tires, and thats the tire size mention, with front, 8.5 and 9.5 rear..

i dun think the front would be a problem with 35 offset, but I want a more aggresive rear, trying to push the limit.

might be the best bet..but can i push 40 offset without any rubbin or fender roll?

I doubt you can go with any wider than 8 inch wheel and drop without shaving/rolling the fenders.

you can run the +40 in the rear, but be prepared to roll your fenders.

you must be very new to the G35 community or missed the other million posts on this subject.

ok, since I will be rolling the fenders, if I go with +40 in the rear, den I might as well go with +35 in the rear.

Those who say it will not work has no first hand experience! Try to not give advice if you aren't sure. I am running 19x8.5 front and 19x9.5 in the rear with +35 offset with no problems. I am however running 245/35 in the front and 255/35 in the rear. Hope that helped. Oh and NO RUBBING

Dyenboy - if you want a "more" aggressive rear, why are you going w/ the 265's. Front 245/35/19 Rear 275/30/19 (for the Hyper Silver)....or you can get them even cheaper w/ Hankooks at wheelstudio.com for $2228.

Is there a reason why you didn't go with 275/30 in back?

I run a 275 in the rear along with a 35mm offset wheel. I had to roll the fenders as one side rubbed. I also have dunlop direzza tires which have a rounded sidewall profile that give me a bit more clearance.

Donnie- you need to think this decision through. Don't jump into a set of wheels, especially those with a less than optimal offset without completely understanding the implications.

It will be cheaper, and cost you much less stress if you purchsae the correct offsets off the bat (+35F/+45R). Even with +45, they will still look aggressive. You may be able to avoid fender rolling, and you won't have to run severe negative camber to make the rears fit. I'm not a fan of just "getting away" with it for $300. Spend the extra money and do it right!!!
