Talking Time for Wheels!!!

First off I should admit that I have lurking around here for a while now so this is my first post!! I never felt the need to post because I always seem to find the answers to my questions if I search hard enough!! This is a great site!!

Anyhow, I have a 04s 5AT all OE (17in w/Dunlop Winter Sports). No MODs as of yet. I am looking to purchase some wheels and tires and I need some advice on size/offset.

I want to upgrade to:

245/45-18 (Not planning on dropping the car yet) - Probably Dunlop Sport Maxx

Will the following wheels from Tire Rack work?? I think they are all +40 offsets. I want the them to be as flush with the wheel well as possible! Will the tires rub? Thanks in advance!!! Any opinions on the whells are welcomed!!

The Rials look nice, I also like the AR1's. What type of rims are your stockers?

Yeah the Rials are nice and a lot cheaper than the AT's. My car just has the stock 5 spoke wheels!!

The AR1s are what I'll be getting. They're a classy timeless design and they're light for an 18X8 (21lbs). I've had ASA rims before and the finish and strength of the rim is impressive.

So would it be safe to say that the the size of tires and these wheels would make a good fit on the car?

They will fit, I run an 18x8 with a +35 offset, so mine sit 5 mm's furhter out than yours will. You will still have plenty of clearance. The 245/45 will fit fine, they were even fine with my car lowered.

Yes, the 245 wide tire with a +40 offset will be fine.

They're all nice...do your homework and go with the one you think is the best quality.

Personally, I'd go with the Italian rims
