You put 89 in your car? Does it affect performance at all?

230 miles per tank?!?!?!?! I get 350-400 miles per tank. You must really be driving it hard to get such crappy mileage.

My car came filled with regular unleaded (89) and the manual actually says that you can use it but it affects performance. It would take a little whiel for the computer to adjust if you ran regular unleaded in it. I just would run it hard for the first 10-15 miles. It would ping a lot I would suspect.

My driving is really calm, but I'm barely getting 280 miles per tank... one question though is the stock exhaust supposed to have exhaust coming out of only one of the pipes or both? I'm wondering if it isn't something related to the exhaust or intake? am I making any sense?

No matter how I drive, I always get 17mpg. It's all city miles but it doesn't seem to matter if I drive normal or hard.

If I am nice to my car I can get 24mpg.
When I am hard on it the worst I have had for a tank is 14.8.

Same in Chicago. Disappointed to be getting 15 but what the hell, I guess I can afford it. Don't want to....

Most for me was 26, I average about 20.5 driving back roads. I always put 93 in the G.

The best I got was 29 MPG going from Monterey to Madera in California. It was in a rental G35 sedan and I filled it up with 87 octane. I was following my parents however and they barely broke 70 MPH the whole trip.

By the way... that rental car was the reason I went and bought a G35.

I've only filled mine twice so far. First tank was 18, second was 20.
The low fuel light came on before the recent fill up, and I pumped in 17 gallons, so had 3 gallons left. I had about 340 miles on that tank.
I'm hoping mileage goes up after it breaks in. I've got less than 700 on the car.

average 19.5mpg in our 2005X, but on highway trips get 24-25 at 75-80mph cruise - close to 500 miles to the tank before filling up. I know I could break 500, but the wife doesn't like to strech it

05 6MT. I went from Huntington Beach to Cambria on the 101 and return on the 5. Average MPG was 29 according to Display on NAV. This is accurate to betyter than 1 MPG. Iwas doing 70 mph wiyh cruise on.
By the way the car had 14000 miles then.
Enjoy.
