Question Fuel Mileage?

What is the most MPG you guys have gotten from a G35 SedanMT. I am curious to know if they are chips out there that will increase your MPG. Look forward to some replies.

The most I've gotten is 23MPG on the hwy. Rather dissapointing since my 96 Maxima could get 30MPG

Well, I have only about 1400 miles on my 06 G Sedan with 5AT and I am currently getting 23MPG.

I've had 26mpg with my 04 AT. Normally the best is just over 25.

Of course, I could drive 55 through Kansas instead of 65-70, and get better gas mileage

Blech Mileage

The last time I checked I was only getting something like 18mpg in my 2005 G35x. The problem with me is that I routinely go 70-80 on the I-95 in Rhode Island (and believe me, that's to keep up with traffic in the left hand lane), and I know you have to drive more conservatively to get better mileage.

2005, 6mt, sport/aero and I get about 19 city and around 25/26 with mixed driving. I have yet to do any steady frwy cruising so I have no idea what my real highway MPGs would be.

I'm getting around 21/22 mpg on mostly hwy miles. It gets better when I slow down. Its amazing how much mpg you can gain just by slowing down 10-15 mph. But, hell, who wants to do that. We bought premium sports sedan/coupes not hondas or toyotas. My old 2003 6mt maxima got around 27 mpg, was faster, bigger, and lighter. But I would chose my G over the max any day. I think the word premium has something to do with it.

Who really cares about fuel milage

You bought a performance car, not a GEO Metro or Toyota Prius, less than impressive fuel economy is what you give up for good acceleration.

Other than the inconvience of the price of gas going up and down 10-25 cents a gallon, does the cost of gas really hit you that hard.
