haha, 3.5 Liter V6, 280hp,sports sedan, "heavy"... and u are expecting good MPG? I guess u should get the TL instead. Or how about the new Civic or even the Smart car that do 70 MPG? What is the MPG for IS350 and 330i?

Well, I guess we can get good fuel milage unless we have FSI from Audi...

btw, i Live in LA, 80% freeway, 20% local. at least 300 miles per tank. I guess that is pretty reasonable.

I got 20mph+ once, once.

After my second full tank of gas, I considered the break-in period over.

I do no hwy driving during the week. On the weekends, I'll go for "Sunday drives", but once it gets twisty I'm all up in 'er.

The most I got was last May (2005), all highway- about 28.5 mpg, at about 70 mph. I just did another long trip and got 26.5 at 70 mph. I attribute the lower mpg primarily to winter grade gas and a little to new, larger tires (now 235/50-17 vs 215/55-17).

When my car was barely out of breakin, and I worked fairly close to home, I was averaging 14mph. Now I commute 25mi to work and average 19. I saw 28 once when I was forced (by a family caravan) to go 55mph (in a 65 zone no less, don't ask). I usually get 23-24 at a more respectable 75-80 on road trips. I've run both 87 and 91 through the car, no noticeable change in mileage, but there is a noticeable difference in performance when you push the car (but not if you don't).

I noticed that on mine too. I think its just the way it flows. I noticed that one morning it was cold out, I thought it was clogged or something.
