Just traded my '03 Max for the G last weekend. Max was nice, good blend of comfort and performance. Got the mod bug with the Max...Cattman Y, Wsp B, Injen Intake, Clears, Tint, etc. But I love my G. Funny thing is, when I traded the Max in, they charged me a fee to remove the tint . Glad to be rid of Nissan's thin paint though!

I just bought the exact same car this evening. I couldn't justify the premium package either. I had a 99 Maxima SE a few years back and the found memories of that car (plus the 96 Altima I drove in college) are what brought me to the G35. I test drove everything form the VW GLI to the Mazdaspeed 6and came to the conclusion that the G35 is the best sports sedan for the money. I really wanted the 6 speed, but my big feet did not fit good in the foot well becuase of the clutch pedal placement. I look forward to learning more about my new car.

My 04 is obviously used. Came with premium and perf tire & wheel pack. I'd rather not have the Bose sys and use my own stuff...but didn't have a choice on this car. Love it anyway!

98 Maxima convert here.

Same car, but 05. Premium C is awesome - love the keyless.

I would have liked the intelligent key, the dual zone air, the homelink mirror & the one touch sunroof in the premium package. However, I did not want the Bose based on what I've read here and my own experience with Bose in the Maxima. Since I will be the only person in the car 90% of the time, the memory seats, automatic steering column & reclining rear seats didn't make much sense.

It sounds like from previous posts that I can install the Homelink mirror, but can I also add one touch controls to my sunroof?

I probably need to get with the moderator and see about changing my screen name. Blancmax (obviously ) was my maxima name. BlancG35 doesn't sound very good though so I'll have to think about if for a while.

I have a base w/sunroof and I only have to hit the button once to open and close, unless I'm going to tilt the sunroof....how does the premium differ? I just had my car tinted last weekend with Madico charcoal 35% all the way around. It makes the car look a lot sportier, well worth the money. I love looking at it in the garage at night since it makes it look even darker....very cool.

What he said. I was under the impression all sunroofs are one touch open/shut & manual vent.

Man, I still check my ride in the garage. It just looks sweet from every angle. Looking back on my life, can't believe I own such a nice car.

I love the tint too. 20% on the sides is too dark here, but the dealer d/n give a ****. I actually wish I would have gone for a light tint on the windshield. Oh well.

me too

Pulled the trigger from my '97 max 5sp stock to an '06 G35x. Test drove the TL, IS250AWD, and '06 Max. G35x was the only one that felt like I was driving a real car.

Sprung for the premium package and NAV. Use the Bluetooth, intelligent key, memory seats, telescoping wheel, and exit/entry every day. Will use the reclining seats twice a year.

Very happy with the purchase!

Org's a good site. Good place to get info and ideas about the Max.
Actually got my G tinted this morning. 3M 20%. Looks good.

One reason i love my prem package is not because my rear passangers can move the seats but because of the fact that i can adjust my d-spec rear shocks in 1 min with them.

Man...I'm still waiting for my G. Looking to replace my 95 Maxima but I want a base 6MT G35 sedan and it seems those are hard to find. Seems like the G35 is a natural progression from a Maxima though.
