Heated Seats are Useless

My heated seats barely seem to get warm even on high and then after about 5 minutes shut off - or I can barely feel them. Is this normal?? My VW would burn my a** after about 5 minutes where as I can't even feel any heat in the G.

I don't know if it's normal, but mine sure get hot. I've seen others mention that theirs are only luke warm too. After 2-3 minutes you can definitely tell when mine are on high. I'm in an '03 G, maybe they got less powerful in later models? I dunno.

Same here with my 03' I have to turn them off after about 5 min because even on low they get too warm. Thats what concerns me is what its doing to the leather

they shouldnt be shutting off.

they are a little slow to warm up, but they seem sufficient. but yes, the VW ones get HOT. way too hot.

I agree, mine on my '05 work just fine, and the temp is just right, you don't want them getting that hot, they are just supposed to warm you, not burn you!
