Okay, I am very close on getting some tires and rims..so I wanted to get some opinions on these tires.

Falken FK-451 vs Falken Azenis ST-115?

Which would u go for?

 

I was going to get the FK-451's -- but the 452's are coming out soon.

I ended up going with the T1R's by Toyo.

 

i like the cushy ride, so for me the azenis

 

Falken FK-451 - Better performance, not as quiet, great wet traction and shorter life (280 AA)

Falken Azenis ST-115 - Better in water, longer wear (360 AA) and quieter ride

 

I have heard good things about the azensis, but they have all said that falken's 360 tire wear rating on the azensis is total BS!!!! Apparently, they wear horribly!

 

I was gonna get the FK-451's myself, but then went with the Toyo T1-R's as well. FYI - I got a great quote on this forum from a member/vendor...they quoted me the following:

4 Falken GRB FK451 size 245/40/19 shipped to Massachusetts for $730

^why did you switch to T1R?

 

The place where I purchased my rims from sold both brands.......they recommended the T1-R's over the Falken's. That's really all it came down to. I know the T1-R's are very popular so thought I couldn't really go wrong. It really wasn't that much extra $ per tire. Originally, I was kinda looking for best bang for the buck, but with still decent performance.
