I also think the sedan looks better than the coupe. Most people forget Nissan designed the sedan first - then the coupe, hence the sedan is more closely related to the 350z.
Coupe looks nice w/ a spoiler but it does have a big "a$$", a sedan w/ a lip spoiler looks nice - and you can drive clients around and not force them to squeeze in the back.
C320 is a Mercedes - so it will ride better to the SHOP ha! Japenese reliability all the way, plus the C230 is around the same price as the G, which when you add in our standards knocks them both way up there.

They both have an alarm, at least 04 and 05. Lock the doors with the remote, leaving open a window, then reach in and open the door. The alarm should sound and the hazard lights should flash. Turn the alarm off by pushing the door open button or using a key to unlock a door.
Someone mentioned that the horn confirm may be turned off, and it could be, but the lights should flash when you lock the car with the remote. The horn will sound as an alarm even if the confirmation honk is turned of. That is toggled by pushing the lock and unlock buttons at the same time for more than 2 seconds.

the factory alarm WILL NOT give you an insurance discount due to it not being a passive alarm system (aftermarket). all infiniti's once you open or force open the door/ hood/ trunk it will beep the horn and lights. it won't go on if someone breaks the glass

Thanks guys. Apparently what I was doing was locking the car with the control, and the unlocking it using the key. I didn't know that the car sensed the key and would not sound that way. But once I tried it by opening it from the inside the alarm went off. Thanks for the info and I guess this turned out to be a great thread for those that favor the Sedan or Coupe.... but I gotta get back to my neck of the woods now... where the REAL G35's are: The GSpot---G35 Coupe

But IMO the coupe beats the sedan in looks by a lot.
