Coupe vs Sedan!!! Winner is...
To each is own.... i prefer the coupe... I first saw a sedan a few years back and then saw the coupe on the lot and i fell in love with the coupe. Now i own a 6 speed coupe. I dont care how fast it is i have faster car in my driveway.. but i got to admit it dont turn heads like my coupe can.
Im a single divorced guy i wouldn't be seen in a 4 door sedan unless i was grocery shopping thats my opinion and im sticking to it.

During college I drove a 2 door POS, and the inconvenience to me of just 2 doors (to me) meant I haven't really considered it since. Even the pickup I've purchased has 3 doors
At least there IS a choice with the G35. Some companies only provide one or the other under a nameplate, and you have to go with a different model name for the coupe equivalent.

I would like to see someone come out with a sedan that has over 400 hp, lots of room, big wheels, Brembo brakes, kick *** stereo, bluetooth phone, navigation, etc for under 40K. And it has to handle well through the slalom. Someone can do this.

I think what hurts the sedan is that it looks too tall and narrow. If it had a wider stance and maybe some wheel bugles it would look better, more aggressive and more upscale than the coupe. Kinda like the A4's with the factory body kits look (way better than the cabriolets).
I think he '07 sedan address that.
I know.......let's talk about this again in a year or so...
Love em both.
As for who sells more, well duh, sedans (any sedan) sells more than coupes because it has 4 doors, so to compare G35 sedan sales to G35 coupe sales is pointless.

But the space is a problem. Gorgeous car, but no practicality. Golf clubs are getting bigger and bigger these days
Infiniti needs to make the coupe more practical. I had a 1990 300ZX 2+2. The rear seats and rear headroom was actually very good for a coupe. Additionally, since it was a hatchback, I could store my mountain bike in the rear hatch. OTOH, the coupe has an 8 cu ft trunk! The subwoofer box in my 87 Maxima had a later *interior* volume than 8 cu ft!
The coupe looks better than the sedan hands down. Unfortunately, it also happens to be super impractical.

Of course the sedan is more practical, but saying the coupe has no practicality is a stretch. An Enzo has no practicility, the coupe is just fine for most.
