Just got my 06 G35 Sedan

Don't worry everyone, I won't post another "Break-In" thread...my very well known cousin (GurgenPB) told me all about it
I had a 2005 Audi A4 1.8T FWD...glad I gave it back.
The G is just amazing...
On to the pictures:

I'm taking the break-in easy...
80% of the driving is below 4,000RPM...I do open her up to 4,500-5,000RPM once in a while, with not too much throttle applied.
I personally think these engines are already broken in by the manufacturer...but better be safe than sorry I guess.
So to keep things short...I'm neither babyin' or poudin' it...I think somewhere in the middle sounds fine

Haha...good one

I'm trying to spare the guy having to do the engine 4 (or 6) times, like I had to. But after the break in, all bets are off.

George is my lil bro! Awesome guy all around.

Thanks for the ride today...your car is amazing.
It feels like an F-15 going at Mach 2.5, damn does that thing pull.
The fortunate ones that have experienced this phenomenon...feel free to chime in

I bought a 06 sedan about two months ago. I getting ready to put some preformance mods on next. Hopefully the z-tube is coming in by this weekend.

I already put on 35%tint all around, clear bra, all-weather floor mats, and clear corners.

Conratulations!

I assume from the picture it's an 06AT. My first suggestion for a cheap/safe mod is to remove the 3" peice of plastic from the front of the airbox. It's easy to spot because it has "POWER DUCT" stamped into the plastic. There are two plastic rivets that hold it in place, I'm sure Gurgen can show you how to pop it off.

It won't make your car any faster, but it will sound meaner above 3,500 rpm. I did this after i got the ztube, so it may take both mods to get the sound i'm talking about. Actually maybe you should wait until after break-in, because you won't be able to keep your foot out of it once you hear it.

I've got some sound clips if anyone's interested.

I like the color! I'm also a big fan of " Drive it like you stole it! ".

Mrev/spacer mod is wonderful.

Anyone know if Gordgees still works well for the 06's?? If it does there's a few more bucks well spent.

enjoy and congrats!

Thanks everyone!
The temptation to push the beast is unlike any other!
I'm slowly getting there...break-in should be over very soon
I think the *******s filled my car with 87 or 89. After I filled it up with 91 for the first time...the car feels a lot "quieter." Or maybe, I'm just getting used to the beast
