ztube + pop charger

im an idiot, i think. i wanted an intake that would give me just a tiny performance boost, and would make my car sound a little better and make that whooosh noise when i stepped on the gas. anyway, i got a z-tube + pop charger and apparently the z tube doesnt fit?

after realizing it doesnt fit, i attempted to just install the air filter. i am a newb so, i almost got it on but i couldnt get the one bracket in place and it was getting dark so i was like **** it and put the original airbox back in place.

my question is, does the z-tube fit in the sedan? and if it doesnt, what is a similar mod that i can do to make it sound nasty?

As mentioned - the z-tube should bolt right in. What area does it not fit? The diameter and length of the hose is identical. For me, I initially made the mistake of not loosening the clamps enough, so I spent a couple minutes trying hard to squeeze it (especially the air filter port). But once I make a few more turns....it slipped on with just a little "elbow grease".

Try this link if you need some help:

By the way, as many have said before, the z-tube + coupe mid pipe is one awesome combo for the money. My 03.5 sedan sounds amazing with this combo in. Not sure of the gains, but the "mental" HP is at least 10HP!

sorry to thread jack but where can I get a coupe mid pipe? if I get it used does it matter how the mileage/road wear is? I have a friend who has one but he says it is really scraped up form bottoming out or something.

anyway, sorry again for the thread jack.

thanks
