i think u should get them painted it makes a big difference to the look of the car. i had my side sill replaced wen i put on the gialla corsa kit, but it's painted too, so far no prob as long as u don't scrape it

My side sills aren't painted cause I fully agree with your body shop. I won't take the risk on a car I plan on keeping more than 4 years.

That is simply ridiculous. Your body shop simply doesn't know what they are doing. I had an Accord and had the same thing done before with no problems after 5+ years. No chipping what-so-ever.

All they have to do is put some flex agent in the paint. If they know what they are doing, then it will turn out just fine.

I'm getting mine done soon as well.
