Talking Singing a new tune

Have not posted a lot in the past, but love all the stories and pics. Read a few post on removing resonator and went and did it today. Put on a Flow Master Performance ($125 installed) and what a difference.

03 Desert Plat. By the way I travel a lot an I'm about to hit 80K and she feels like the very first day still.

No pics...sorry! The flow Master fits perfectly inplace of the resonator, with a 10 inch extention pipe added in the exhaust system. I do not think it sounds like the middy. This is a deeper/throater sound. Reminds me more of the M3. My neighbor has the 350Z and in my opion it does'nt sound the same.

At first did not really think it made that much differece but the more I drove today the happier I became. I personally did not want the Coupe/Z sound. Get around 4/5K RMP and it growls.

wait did you replace the muffler? the last piece in the exhaust system or the mid-pipe w/resonator that is the intermediate pipe between the muffler and y-pipe?

The resonator! On the sedan it is a huge Triangler section before the rear axles.

maybe because it is worthless without at least pictures, and since it is an exhaust change - no soundclip.
