thats what I want to do to my side and rear lip also, and am willing to go the same route except one slight problem. I don't know how to color match so I guess I'll have to go the paintshop way. I have DP as well and seems like if color shadint was even off a bit it would be very noticeable. Anybody have an idea how much that would cost at a quality shop?

and SASH...whats next project....mirror housing paint?

i was going to spray bomb the sides, maybe i'll use an airbrush to do the rear. how much paint did you end up using? pint?

don't remember, we mixed it in small dixie cups with a scale and some computer software that tells you what to mix based on paint code.

we probably mixed paint like 4-5 times for the whole thing and we did it as needed.

Wish you would've asked these questions sooner after I posted when it was fresh in my mind

lol, sorry mah bad. i only realized yesterday that you said airbrush. for some reason i thought ur buddy was a pro and was using an hvlp gun. have im?

HVLP would be overkill for this project too much overspray but he does have one.
