Two rattles - passenger head rest and A-pillar speaker

I'll be taking the 05x in hopefully next week for the dealer to examine the back brakes (< 6500 miles). While there I also intend to ask them to look into two very annoying rattles.

1. Passenger side head rest. No matter the position. Only difference is made when I hold it tightly.

2. Passenger side a-pillar speaker (cover?).

Questions -
- Anybody have these before? I did a search and didn't see these particular rattles.
- In general, how have dealerships dealt with you when you tell them there is a rattle? Do they look into it since it is under warranty or do they just blow it off because it is a rattle?

Thanks!
Nate

never heard of those rattles... but hopefully the stealership will take care of you... i think since its under warranty (warranty repair orders dont make as much as out of warranty repair orders) they might just say they looked at it and write "could not duplicate" but i could be wrong about your dealership

yeah...i just noticed the rattle today...My passenger side head rest is the only one that I can actually pin point.

Oh and my brakes squeak like crazy. I had them check it out, and it stopped for a day and now its back...i cant take it.

Apparently they have to shim the brake pads so they don't squeak. It sounds like they goofed.

ever get this into the dealer to check it out. I am having the same annoying rattle, it's definately coming from the passenger side, thought at first it was the seat belt rattling against the seat when the music is cranked up, but it now looks like it is the headrest, or maybe the speaker cover.

I've been hearing a rattle from the passenger seat also. Not sure if it's the head rest. Anyone have any experience with the passenger seat rattling? Seems like it does it more if the car is cooler inside (ie, when it heats up during the day, the rattle goes bye bye).

Thanks
