Thumbs up If only everyone could do what you did.

Way to go!

Some may remember that I was hit by a drunk driver back in November.https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-sedan-v35-2003-06/75072-my-new-g35-saved-my-life.html If someone had stepped up like you before I got hit, I may not had to deal with the pain that comes from a car accident....and it totaled my G.

I did the exact same thing you did a month ago when I was coming home and saw a really drunk driver. He was bouncing of curbs like he was driving a bumper car. I called 911, it took them twenty minutes to assign a car (I live in Vegas) but he was so drunk he seemed completely lost and couldn't find his way home. So in the end it turned out well. I have only great things to say about Las Vegas Metro. I filled out a report after he failed the sobriety test and he was hauled off to jail.

Cops need all the eyes and ears they can get. A citizens right is to protect himself and his community. I commend you for a job well done and an inspirational story I hope others can appreciate.

Good job! I'm a motorcycle rider and would hate to come across an idiot like this on the road.

Who are these people that said you shouldn't have gotten involved?! They should feel honored to know someone like you. Next time you see a drunk idiot hit one of their cars, don't help them. Let's see how they feel about it then.

Good job. I would have done the same thing.

+1 for doing the responsible thing. What does him having a gun have to do with anything - he pulls it out thats assault with battery + DUI = lots of jail time let alone him being able to even fire at you. He commited a crime, damaged someone elses property - I would only hope someone would take the time to prevent any further damage. Being someone with a friend killed by a drunk driver and being personally hit by a drunk driver I truely appreciate your efforts and what you were able to do!

Again, thanks for the support guys. I asked one of my friends yesterday why he wouldn't have done what I did and his reply was, "I've become desensitized to it all over time." I hope this never happens to me and its good to know that a majority of you would do the same.

You did the right thing! unless you are a coke dealer i wouldn't worry about retailiation because you have the benefit of police protection.

All these lil wannabe gangsters think the code of the street is to "not snitch" but they forget the part about not involving civilians.

You did the right thing and i wouldn't fear any repercussions any1 that drunk wouldn't have been able to shoot straight anyway lol.
