So can anyone give me some ideas of what to expect to pay for an 06 G sedan with AT/Premium B and Sport package?

Only one way to find out, start getting quotes from dealers. I was expecting to pay $500 over invoice last year but found it difficult in reality. It may be different now that the 07 changes are official.

Smile Prices for '06 Sedans

In late Dec. I built my car on the Infiniti web site. Requested bids by email from all dealers within 75 mi. Within 24 hours I had bids from 8 dealers. I was able to purchase the exact car from stock. I called the dealer asked him to throw in a set of mats. I saved $3500 off the list and $2000 off my local dealer. Gave him my credit card # to hold the car. Picked up the car 2 days later.
PIECE OF CAKE highly recommended.

yes there is a rebate but still won't get $1000 below invoice since there are only so many 2006 models left. they stopped production orders a month ago.

Same as my car except we also went with Nav and XM Radio. 1-2% over invoice is a fair deal for both you and the dealer. If you are flexible with color combinations then you'll be able to make a better deal. We wanted Sedan 5AT Lakeshore Slate/Stone interior, sport, nav. There were only 3 in all of California with that combination and the only one without a deposit on it already also had XM. We were still able to work a deal for 1% over invoice.

Price the car you want at invoice price online at Emdunds.com or costco.com, then decide what you want to pay. Call up your local dealers and ask for the fleet or internet sales manager. Tell them EXACTLY what you want, and EXACTLY what you want to pay and ask them if they can do it. If not move on to the next dealer and let them know you have already talked to X dealer and they said no and you are looking to make a deal today.
