Cleaning your Windshield is cool, Ain't it?

I actually think the way the windshield wiper fluid is sprayed onto the windshield is kinds cool. Unique and clever design. Three spray nozzles integrated into the arm of the windshield wiper. Works for me.

I took me awhile to figure this out.
Thumbs UP Infiniti Engineers!

Yes but if you REALLY wanted to, you could disconnect the washer tubes, drill a couple of holes in your hood and install.... like a COOL number (six?) of the LED spray nozzles! Betcha NO ONE else has THAT! LOL!

Actually, come to think of it, maybe four LED nozzles for each side! That way you could have on in each colour (blue, red, yellow, and green) and the coverage of spray might almost be as good as the stock system. You could also hook em up to 'scan' like the Knight Rider car. After that, it'd be the ultimate chick magnet!

Hey gordgee, calm down man, its okay...That got medication for that. I think we're getting a little carried away. (just joking) Actually those nozzle lights are kinda cool.

Very clever design. Does anyone know if they are heated? Some car companies have heated washer fluid tanks.

I know someone who purposely drilled holes in his Cavalier to put those stupid lights on the hood. He got rashed on by the whole forum. LOL wadda dumb @ss.

FYI - The new Saab 9-3 and 9-5 has three washer nozzles on the hood...pretty different.

The design is rare, but not unique. My '91 plymouth acclaim had two spray nozzles integrated into the arms of the wipers, one nozzle near the bottom and the other at the top. Always thought it was a great design and was happy to see it on my G.

What's interesting about this is that for each wiper...if you sit there and just spray...is that there are 4 separate jets that come out. It doesn't get enough coverage near the top of the wiper though...

Just had too much time on my hands i guess.

It's cool. But I feel that the proximity of the nozzel to the wiper blade reults in the fluid being wiped away too quickly. With traditional nozzels, there is a brief period of where the washer fluid gets to penetrate the brid crap on the windshield. WIth the G, that tiem frame is none-existant. as soon as the fluid hits the galss, its gone
