I've never taken the car up that far on the road, but my car hits the speed limiter at ~145 on the dyno.

if your heading down hill, and you excede 145, would it register on the spedometer?

That's what I heard too. The limiter is set to 155mph from what I've heard.

Would it matter what elevation from sea level your at as to wether or not you can achieve top speed?

Nope, never paid attention. Sorry. I do know that my speedo is 2mph high, across the board; at least, from 20mph up to 100mph(the only ranges that I've verified).

im gonna try and do top speed again but not anytime soon i love this car too much to risk doing top speed
