+1^ I think our cars will do almost 160 because there is room left at 155 and will still pull at that speed..

Man I'm in Germany and I've only been able to hit 139MPH on the autobahn! I've been looking at the 09' G37s, might have to gone scoop that joint, 139MPH is unacceptable. Out here, you might get passed by a Ford Focus at that speed....lol

Fastest I've gone in my G35 is 93MPH...i know this because it's the trap speed last time i was at the track.

Seriously though, on the highway, 80MPH is usually my limit in any car.

Not to say I didn't go faster in my younger days

you should be trapping much faster than 93... was the 3 supposed to be an 8?

He's a got a basically stock X. It's pretty common for them to run 93 to 95mph traps. The fastest trap I've seen for an X is 96mph and that was with intake and exhaust work. I believe it was ChicagoX's G35X (14.5@96mph).

I prob could, but that day my best was 14.7 @ 93MPH

Bone stock g35x, heavy with NAV and full size spare, full tank of gas, and a 50 pound toolbox in the trunk.

I wasn't intending on racing that day, but my friend needed a fill-in for a charity race at the dragway. Next time i go it'll be in more of a race-trim.

You would notice the speed governor if the fuels cuts out - seems like nobody here has hit that limit. The 155 limit is ONLY on european cars as it is a "gentlemans agreement".

My 07 G35S has only hit 140 - even over 2 minutes of highway - alligator alley.

I think it has to do more with the aerodynamics of the car or if you have a spoiler - it slows you down.

For those of you who said 156+ on your cars do you have the stock wheels? If you have a larger wheel, then your speedo might be off by some percentage - can you confirm via GPS?
