My 93 NX doesn't have a limiter, I had it up to 161 (guesstimate 20 seconds) with 500 RPM to go. But my G35X, 120 Its ***** slow :-( but i'm working on fixing that.

 

Still 141 here... I dont know why it stops there. Now that i think about it. Thats really all ive gotten up to before i ran out of room. Maybe it will go faster? who knows. 140 is pretty fast in my car lol.

 

The speedometer is not accurate up at that end. At 80 mine is dead on perfect with the GPS and radar. At speeds above that... (speeds I can neither confirm or deny)... it is about 6 MPH slow.

 

And you have to think about your wheels and tires. Any change in the overall diameter and your speedometer will be off.

 

I still have yet to go over 93MPH


In fact, it's been a couple years since i've gone over 90MPH on a public highway.

 

I ahve the coupe 19s on, and my speedo told me 141 when the GPS said 141 so im pretty impressed.
You are nuts. I do a lot of interstate driving so i probably hit 90 on a weekly basis.

Just go find a quick open stretch of road, or the freeway when your about to get off at an exit, and just hit the gas and hit 100 ONCE. It literally takes seconds in this car. You will be there and back to the speed limit before you know it. Just so you can say you have done 100..

Oh, im not even going to lie. Not stupidly hitting 100, just out in the country... hell, i hit it the other day in the 08 G going to Fleet Farm....

 

It's probably about a 1 in 3 chance I'm going to break 90 everytime I get in the G

 

I have an 05AT coupe. I have seen 140 going across Wyoming

 

my G35x topped out at 139mph

 

04' G35X (slightly modded) top speed = 152 mph... GPS showed 148 mph. Did this Sunday night!
I know most speedo's are inaccurate after 100 mph by a few mph's.

 

My 04 coupe with a gps tracking it showed 161mph when I hit the speed limiter. Car was 100% factory with 17k miles at the time.

 

Does anyone else get annoyed when the top speed on the GPS says anything less than 100 haha. But seriously take it safe people.

I've had mine into the 130's and that was it, felt like it could keep going easily though.
