Anyone know if the steering wheel mounted controls on the 07s are illuminated? That was one small thing that I would like to see changed.

You mean the radio and cruise control controls? Those were illuminated starting with the '05 Shane.

I'm glad to see your happy w/your G35, but to the majority of owners out there even on this forum, and any publication that has reviewed this car - the interior is inept to say the least. The latest Road & Track review of this vehicle sums it right up: Next to last place.

An interesting follow up to the illumination is what color it'll be on the '07s considering they've now dropped their yellowish orange lighting scheme.

I can't remember now which car it was, but I see it had the amber gauges, seems like it was a BMW or an Audi, I actually like the amber, it's much easier on the eyes than all those previous "green" gauges my cars have had before.

Green??? Sounds like a Ford problem. If I remember correctly Audi uses all red interior lighting (which can't be all that much easier on the eyes than our yellow/orange lighting) and BMW uses amber. I'd have to check because I don't remember now.

Okay, it was a BMW, and that is where the idea for our amber illumination came from. I still like the amber on the G35. I don't know how red would be, reminds me too much of a Navy ship in the dark. LOL, it wasn't only Ford that had the green lights.

I wish the LSD was Torsen (or equivalent).

While we're at it, I wish...
- the headlights weren't so pointy (more like the M)
- the tach was on the right (nit-picking here)
