Every few years there's a glimmer of hope. In between there's a lot of... "take Saturday, for instance".
Apologies to the OP for further hijacking an already 'jacked thread.
B&O, High end audio ?? Are you sure about that?

So, where does B&O get it's reputation for being a high-performance audio brand?

Why is this thread in the 2007 G35 sedan forum?
It'd be nice to come here to read about the 2007 G35.
Instead, I find some guy's rant about a stereo company in general. There's nothing wrong with ranting about it, but there are other forums for that. I'm surprised that this thread hasn't been moved.

Here is something about the 2007 G35 ...

But other people have heard it, including a veteran audiophile journalist, a quartet of top studio musicians, several top recording & mastering engineers, and a few more "general" automotive journalists.

ENOUGH ALREADY.
I'm not arguing with you, but look what

And, I already know the other parallel to that last statement which you are itching to make. As in the title, I won't argue that either.
With the G35 (2007) press event, at least we had the guts to invite a reviewer from a magazine that some consider to be the anti-Bose magazine...

This be the point! Many consider B&O high end audio, Many consider Bose high end. These folks are not wrong anymore than chocolate is better than vanilla. Look at the OEM car audio manufactures. BOSE, ROCKFORD, Infinity, JBL and ML and Harmon Kardon. Most have good and bad examples of their work. Want to hear GOOD BOSE check out a caddy CTS, BAD BOSE (the G comes to mind). Compare a B&O home system to ADCOM components and Klipsh heritage speakers. The B&O looks great sounds good, the adcom/klpsch is a rack of components that sounds near perfect.
I'll second the point that were 10 pages in to a discussion about an audio system NO ONE has listened to. (perhaps these guys could take to reviewing restaurants they've never eaten at, books they've never read, or movies they have never seen).
