Anyway - take this FWIW:
A "major car magazine" is suppose to be reviewing a pre-production [which is really the 1st 50 or so off the production line] car for their Sept issue. This would mean that this would be in print in August. Don't hold my feat-to-the-fire on this, but I can only tell you that this is from someone who has a reliable source. We'll see how reliable this source is.

Accoring to previous Nissan info there was going to be a Sport Package that was available w/the auto, and like you said Std. on the 6mt. This consisted of a LSD and Sport Suspension and Paddle Shifters. From the new info it does not indicate this. Are you saying you have infomation otherwise..?

Looks like the NAV and 9.5GB audio server are tied together. I was hoping the HDD would be part of the upgraded audio system, not part of the NAV package as I do not want NAV. I bet the HDD is larger than 9.5GB (maybe a 20GB HDD) but the NAV is taking up half the space and the other half is dedicated to audio storage.

The bottom line with the G35 (in my opinion) is that it has to sell for considerably less money than the BMW 335 or Lexus IS350 if they want to compete. All things being equal, I'd still prefer the 335 if I could get one for $35K, and I've been a Nissan/Infiniti driver for over a decade now.
My guess is that I'll be able to get a 6-MT (loaded minus NAV) for around $35K by Summer 2007.

Not being a previous owner of the G, it is harder for me to actually not be impresed by the bump. The way i look at it, was i was going to buy an auto sedan, so this 30hp bumbp is good for me.
BUT i can understand where you previous owners are coming from.
Well just remember that the HP rating is adjusted.....So could have been more.
Plus I also agree with previous statement, they might be holding this engine back.

the 2008 Coupe is what people are waiting for. The 07 will be the same coupe as sold now.
I'm sure the 08 will have more power then the Sedan.
