Talking Officially Placed My Order This Morning!

Earlier today, I officially placed my order on the new 07 Sedan. Here is what I ended up with.

* Garnet Ember exterior
* Graphite Interior
* Sport package which includes;
Sport front fascia and side sills
Rear spoiler
VLSRD
Sport tuned suspension
Sport tuned VDC
Paddle shifters
14 way power seats including manual adjustable thigh support,
power adjustable torso bolsters, and power adjustable thigh
bolsters.
Aluminum pedals

* Navi package which includes;
Compact flash slot for playing MP3s
Internal 9.5GB hard drive
Touch screen Navi
Voice recognition for HVAC, Audio and Navi functions
XM radio

My dealer estimates that I will not have it until mid November so it will be a lengthy wait. Anyways, it's been an exciting day today!

Did a deal work out already, or do you have to wait unitl it comes in? Are you trading the '03 Shane?

Since pricing still hasn't been released yet, an official deal hasn't been worked out yet. I will be getting a 1% discount off of MSRP though. I hope to sell my 03 myself, otherwise I will be trading it in.

LOL, great idea Ian.....however I am pretty much guaranteed to lose that one being on the east coast. Any member from the west coast will probably have their 07 about a month before me.

HaHa, that's the way it was with my '04, I think I bought one of the first '04s in town, funny, they didn't really want my nice Mustang GT vert in trade, maybe could have made a slightlyy better deal without it, but. it was such an impulsive buy...................

What about wheels in the sport package? Are they different?

Yep, they are 18" seven spoke on the sport vs. 17" ten spoke on the non-sport.

I thought the '07 G35 Navi is supposed to be touch screen, but no voice recognition. None of the press releases nor the Infiniti "all new G" Web site says anything about voice recognition Navi. I think they've still reserved that for the M....No?

Anyway, congrats, Canuk. It's going to be a great car! If I get one in Nov. or Dec., it will be just like yours...Journey/Prem/Sport/Navi, just in the DG/black color combo.

The spec sheet the dealer provided me indicates both touch screen and voice recognition for Navi.

I am glad to hear that you are thinking about getting back into a G!!

That is strange because my spec sheet doesn't mention anything about real time traffic information.

I am guessing this has something to do with the Canadian models being a little different. Another example would be the G35 Journey not available her.
