Did you happen to notice/write down the tire sizes?

Trey, the tire sizes are;

225/55 VR17 All Seasons for the regular G35

G35 with Sport Package has 225/50 WR18 Front Summer Performance Tires and 245/45/WR Rear Summer Performance Tires.

That means that the stock tires(17's) are 26.7 inches tall, which is 4 tenth of an inch taller than the current sedan.

The 225/50/18 fronts measure 26.9 inches(even taller), whereas the 245/45/18's are 26.7 inches tall. So the overall gearing is a bit taller. That also means that with the sports tires, the front are 2 tenths taller than the rear. I wonder if that's visually apparent in person.

Do you have the gear ratios and final drive ratios?

I don't think that's an air duct, more than likely the radar unit for the Intelligent Cruise Control.

Final Drive 3.692 3.692
Good info to have. So both models now share the same final drive? I find that interesting. I also find it interesting that the final drive is even shorter. That will help acceleration. Not a ton, but every little bit counts.

That means that with a redline of 7500, a sports model equipped with 245/45/18's will have the following top speeds:

Gear - 5AT - 6MT
1 - 42 - 42.5
2 - 68.5 - 69.4
3 - 105.5 - 99.3
4 - 161.3 - 126.9
5 - 192.2 - 161.3
6 - NA - 203.1

That means that both models will be geared to reach 190mph, and the 6mt will be geared to exceed 200mph. Interesting.
