I picked up October's issue of MT this morning and did a quick scan for everyone else to look at.

That just pisses me off. Not the content of the article, but the fact that Infiniti still has such chassis issues.

But you're right, for my money, the G35's looks, performance, and value make it a clear cut winner.

Too bad as the overall package is pretty convincing.
The added performance is welcome, though it seems close to the outgoing 6-speed. The bigger brakes are welcome. And I like that they finally use a staggered setup 7.5 in front 8.5s in the back.
At the end of the day, you still get more for you buck with the G.

Thanks Shane. I would agree with Silver II the article has a slight bias towards the BMW. Motortrend appeared to use the quantitative measures randomly and added their own qualitative measures where it benefitted the Bimmer. No matter. In any event it shows the new car is very close if not at least the equal of the class benchmark. As well they were testing a car that was shown as a whopping 25% more expensive the new G. That will play a much bigger role in most peoples buying decision compared to the small footnote Motortrend rationalized it with.
the more pictures i see of the new sedan, the LESS i like it... that spoiler is ugly... i dunno i'm gonna miss the technology in the new G, but i'll be happy with the appearance of mine
