Toronto Star G35 Article

There was a small article about the 07 G35 in the Saturday Toronto Star (Aug 26th). It doesn't say much new but I scanned and posted it . Excuse the poor quality it is from a newspaper.

Great find Wayne. Thanks for taking the time to scan it and post it up.

Thanks for posting this. Glad to see someone admit the car looks better than they orginally thought.

Nice. I never noticed the twisted grill slots.

That is probably the best angle I have seen the 2007 G in so far. It looks GREAT. Wider and much more aggressive.

Did they change the front bumper?

It seems to look better than the one I saw at the show. Perhaps a last minute tweak.

It is true though the car does look better in person than in the pics so far.

Thanks Wayne. I find Jim Kenzie to be knowledgable and insightful. I had not noticed the grille until the article. That looks pretty cool. I also agree the car looks noticeably more muscular and sporty than the first gen sedan.

The Sedan has matured nicely, Wayne, (and Shane)......It will make a nice addition to your stables.

front bumper

I guess the G35 in the photo is the G35S sport model.

I really don't like the front bumper at all on the sport model.

That's kinda aggravating because I was looking forward to the paddle shifters
and it sounds like they will not be available on the non sport model.

I'm a little suspect of an article that states the 1st iteration of the Q45 "...failed miserably". If there was a car that that Infiniti did right, that was it; especially (what I think was) the Q45 Indy version of this car. The latter generations were flops because they polluted what was a total home run for Infiniti, instead of building on the original. At the time, this car absolutely killed the competition IMO.

Nevertheless, the new G is definitely better looking than the current G inside and out.
