07 Sedan Article in Car & Driver (Now Scanned)
I just noticed that there is also an article in the October issue of C&D regarding the new G sedan. I haven't read it yet, but will try and scan it and post here soon. Just thought I would let everyone know in case you want to pick up a copy.

It's been a busy day so I only had time to do a quick scan. Sorry guys, this the best I can do for today. I still haven't read the article yet so I am not even sure what its about.
Anyways, here you go.

Thanks for scanning and sharing the review. I can't wait to see C&D in my mailbox soon, hopefully today. But the most important numbers on the last page is cutout....
One thing is very true. Like the C&D mentioned, "Why on earth one would buy IS350?".
It is so true. IS350 is small, uninspired handling, weak design and expensive. New G35 may not win over 330i/335i completely but it certainly kills IS350 over and over.

interesting. 2 of the 3 quick takes were thoroughly impressed. One of them even said why would anyone buy an IS350.
heheh ouch.
But 1 of the 3 absolutely thought it was below subpar. Still complained about interior.
Also the general consensus was that they didnt like japanese washi alum trim. But I think thats the generation gap speaking, cause Im a fan of it.
hmmm love it or hate it.
BTW I'm in love.

5.2 sec 0-60 is very fast, but I'd like the see the auto in action and if it still shifts slow and lazy. Putting that to the side, this car looks much improved.

The auto is controlled by the ECU, meaning the shifts can be soft or neck breaking harsh depending on the line pressure settings. An aftermarket tune/chip can easily change those parameters around.
