Potential 07 Sedan Owners, Check In

For those of you that are considering the new Sedan this fall, what setup do you plan on getting? I figured I would post this up just for fun.

I have an 04 5at now. It's going to be a toss up between the 07 G35 and a used 06 M35.

Cool need some assistance

Ok.. heres my situation. I Live in Staten Island NY. During the winter, there is a mediocre amount of snow. Not as much as say.. upstate or whatever. But the problem is that Staten Island is very hilly, and during the winter ...if theres alot of snow.. it can get pretty sloppy. Ive been driving a Jeep grand cherokee for the past 4 years.. and have never had a problem with the snow. Im very interested in this new sedan... but i dont know which model would be best to get. Does the sports model actually look much sportier?.. or do they look virtually the same. Help making a decision would be nice because im going to put $500 down next monday...I also want to submit to the poll

Do you plan on keeping your Jeep, or getting rid of it for the new G?

I plan on using it for a trade-in. Ill get 3g's for it. Is it worth it for me to get the sport and get some nicer tires and have better mpg and acceleration? Or should I just get the x?

Well, I think that only you can decide if getting the X is worth it to you. Having said that, if you are used to driving your Jeep in the winter it might be a good idea getting the X.

Is safer winter driving more important to you or performance? Also, are you looking at getting a 6MT or 5AT? If you want the 6MT, that is not available on the X. Weigh the pros and cons of the Sport model and X and see which one has more pros.

It is a tough decision for sure, I had to make the same one myself. Good luck.

yes.. such a difficult decision..i know how to drive stick.. but find it annoying in the city because of traffic.. so ill be looking at automatic. What exactly are the differences between the x and the sport?.. just pedals?.. is the performance difference that noticable? Ohh man this decision is so tough

Get the X....not like you can open it up on Hylan Blvd...

If you live on Grymes Hill, you'll be happy with the AWD when it isn't plowed.

Yes, I'm a native Staten Islander. Moved Upstate in 2001. The X is worth it up here.

im in the same situation, i need my car to be able to drive in the snow, but i love having a stick, plus for the other 3/4 of the year i dont need it, but i have a house in the woods that if the drive way gets snowy most cars can't handle, i go up there every to every other weekend so i think im getting the X but damn i want stick, or at least paddle shifters, man this sucks, but im getting an 07 cant complain,

yah i know i SHOULD...get the x... but im inching closer and closer to the sport. I do have a growing ambition to move out to cali aswell, so that could be another reason. Another thing is this: I want the car to be its maximum potential in regards to performance..without being stick. MPG is also something that is influencing me to pick the sport..whcih is probably going to get better mpg because it weighs less(from what ive been reading). It also has a bit better speed. With all that said... I will probably get the X just to be safe.. but if the X doesnt look like the red 07 car that people post pictures of.. because it lacks the siderails.. or whatever.. ill go with the sport. The red car just looks so badass.. and will look even more badass in white

A premium 6MT for me, this time with navigation. I dont know what color yet but it will likely be whatever the current blue is.

Im having a hard time trying to pick, 07 g35 or the 07 max. The max have tons of room but mod wise it sucks. The g35 has ok room but I can mod it like crazy. im moving to pa and from what I hear the g35 has great handle and im going to need it for those small roads. Then again I do love the max.
