Also, there will be a HDD Nav system. So how do we update the NAV? Will the dealership do this at a fee?

Anyhow, just rip your music to SD and upload it to the HDD if you want instant results.

From what I understand, you get a single disc cd player with the Nav, you just don't get a changer.
I wonder how much that Tech package will cost. The intelligent (assuming radar based?) cruise control alone on other vehicles is like 2 grand. I'd like having the adaptive headlights and rear camera, but not if this package is going to be wicked expensive. The more I think about it, I think I'll end up with a G35x with prem+nav.

I'm dissapointed that you don't get a cd changer with the NAV. Why would I want to pay more and not get at least the same features that someone that is paying less is getting? The last two cars I've bought (current being an '03 G35) I considered getting the NAV but ultimately decided against it. This time around I'm really seriously considering it. But now that I've found this out, I might not get it afterall. I use the cd changer all the time. And I don't have all my 200 CDs ripped to MP3 form (and don't intend on doing this). Why would I waste my time ripping them to an inferior format? I like having the 9.5GB hard drive space for stuff I do have on MP3, but I'm not going to convert my existing CD collection. I assume there will be a single disc player in the dash, but that's not good enough.
