I have Wheat in my 05 and the top of the dash is brown. The stoneand graphite have a black dask. It does appear the brown may be a little darker on the new model. Infiniti does an excellent job with it's interior photos.

The lines flow quite well into the rear seating area (as shown in the 360 view).

It looks there is a LED blue bulb that shadows the Navi console, like in the Acura TL/TSX:

It could be the photo also.

Definitely some nice new shots of the interior. That Wheat interior with Rosewood looks VERY nice IMO.

I noticed that it mentions 150 hours of playtime on the 9.5gb hard drive. If you averaged 5 minutes per song, that would be about 1800 MP3s. Not to shabby at all.....it is certainly enough for me.

Btw, thanks to the OP for sharing.

It also says it rips the cds. I don't recall reading that before. I figured you used the memory card to swap over your music.

Agreed, which is why I do not see the point about the issue of not having an in-dash CD changer. Rip your CD's on your computer at your desired bit rate, get yourself a 10Gb SD card [or less] and off-load. SD can transfer up to 10 Mb/sec so transferring a full SD card to the HD will not take long. Your never miss the 6-changer.

Unfortunately I have not seen at what bit rate this executes at - but this info may be in the owner’s manual.

I kind of figured you would be able to rip from the CF card as well Mike, but it doesn't look like it. Oh well, not a big deal to me.

Exactly. Between 1800-2000 MP3s ripped to the HD and then a bunch more on the CF card, the only use my CD changer will see is for ripping. Having the changer in the trunk doesn't bother me in the least.

Plus the fact that you'll have full track/CD info and control of the play list selection on the Navi screen that you setup, which will be unavailable via the 6-changer as well - except for perhaps the song title for CD's that are [CD-TEXT] compatible, which are not that common.

The on-board software that controls the music is akin to WMP or iTunes.

My complaint with the cd changer hanging down in the trunk is that I will lose a bit more valuble trunk space. I find I am always rearranging the luggage, etc. to get it all in. Which results in my trunk being loaded right up to the parcel shelf.
I'm afraid when I travel with my wife we never travel light
