I guess what I am asking... about what percentage of the "more stiff ride" of the Sport would you say comes from the Wheels/Tires and what percentage comes from the rest of the Sport features?
Sorry, scratch this. I just realized that the Sport does not have any suspension differences. I guess the article I recall reading was complaining about the optional active steer that is only available on the Sport. Now I really wish the Rosewood was available on the Sport!

Bad move IMO.

I was debating getting a 6MT TL w/NAV and could've gotten one near $31k after some heavy negotiating.
Looks like it'll be closer to $36k for a 6MT TL now.

The Sport model has a sport tuned suspension, so it will not be quite as soft as the G35 or G35x.

I hope the 2007 Infiniti G35x AWD with the Premium Package, Navigation Package, and the Technology Package is a common configuration because I don't want to wait four months to get my car after I initially order it in December.

Yeah, that is probably my dream configuration. Hopefully the price will be within my reality! I can't wait to see/drive one in person.

It's very funny to see how some current g owner.....

bashing at the new g in the OLD G sedan forum, saying how much they hate the new g, it's too quiet, it's not original...blah blah blah that they rather stay with their 2005 and 2006 g.

Actually I can understand why they hate the new G..... can you? LOL

OK, thanks. Its strange, this doc does not mention the sport tuned suspension (that I see)...
http://www.nissannews.com/infiniti/2.../g35/specs.doc

and the minisite
http://www.infiniti.com/allnewG/allNewG.html
under "Movement" : "Sport Model" description does not mention the suspension and then the "Show Me" button mentions 6 things but not the suspension.

I believe you since you have one on order but I have not seen anything official that says sport tuned suspension for the sport model. Has anyone?

I did see in C&D's review that said:
"the Sport 6MT employs firmer rear dampers and harder steering-rack bushings"

All I can go by is the specification sheet my dealer sent me....which states that the Sport model receives a Sport tuned suspension with sport tuned VDC. IMO, there is no question that a Sport model will ride firmer than a non sport model. Just me .02 cents.
