Too bad Infiniti cannot hit the BMW mark, otherwise I'd keep the setup as-is.

And I don't understand why Infiniti had to make different sized tires for the G. That means my fronts will wear out much faster, and then I'll have to replace all four tires well before 20k miles!

I wasn't crazy about any of the wheels I've seen thus far on the 07's. Reports so far have the sport suspension sounding kinda choppy so at this point I'm leaning towards 19 or 20s with the touring over the sport. I've got a few $$ saved up just for the right wheel package. Might lower it an inch, too.. Some of the pics have the G kinda high around the wheel wells. Have to see the wheels on the G first...

well, I'm in a 2001 M5 now and pondering going back to Infiniti b/c of the 07 G, but there is no way I would keep either of the wheel/tire setups...
on my '03 G coupe, I had 19" Volk SF winnings with 255/285 tires, and those at the time even looked a little "undersized" for my tastes - the new sedan looks like it has large arches and plenty of room for aftermarket wheels, so if I do plunk down the cash for a new sedan, I'll be doing 19's at least, but most likely I'll wait and let some other people be the guinea pigs...
at any rate, what I'm basically saying is that the current selections are undersized and dissappointing, imo...
