Will the G35 Sport be obtainable at 38k? This is a key question IMO.

Hey guys, new poster here and am very excited about the new '07.
However, especially in light of the releasing of the 335i pricing, the price point at which the '07 arrives is going to be crucial to its success. I saw that the Destination and Handling charges were going up to $800 per vehicle recently, and that may not be a move in a welcome direction.
I believe (and this was hinted at in another thread) that in order to achieve rousing success, Infiniti needs to make the '07 Sport sedan obtainable at $38,000 out the door (sans the very high priced studio on wheels of course).
If the price goes much higher than this, then other alternatives begin to make more sense (as in a used Cadillac CTS-V or an IS350 with low miles).
Given that the pricing of the current model sedan starts around $31k (I think this is correct), it seems like making the '07 Sport available between $35k and $38k should be quite doable.
I don't want to beat the dead horse, but how do others feel about this?

I think the 2007 Infiniti G35 Sport will be around $38,000 ( MSRP ) fully loaded ( i.e. Premium Package, Navigation Package, Technology Package ) and the 2007 Infiniti G35x AWD will be around $40,000 fully loaded. I think Infiniti will officially release 2007 Infiniti G35 pricing news in mid October which sucks.
So you seem to be thinking I should be able to get a Sport Model with the Premium Package and Navigation Package (sans the Tech package, please tell me this is the same as the studio on wheels) for about 36k? If so, this is very welcome news.
I don't get why they aren't releasing the prices earlier either.

So in the end you'd be looking at a $38,000 MSRP, but I think if you wait a month or two you'll be able to get the 2007 Infiniti G35 Sport for around $1,500 - $2,000 below MSRP ( i.e. $36, 500 or $36,000 ). Good luck with your purchase! The 2007 Infiniti G35 is going to be a great vehicle.
For me, at 36k I feel I'm saving 2 grand under what I budgeted, and would be very satisfied...
btw I'm looking to buy mid-late March, so maybe that's a good time. Major snow storm and I'm at the dealership making my deal! hehe

The 2007 TL Type S is $39,000 MSRP.
No way that the G35 Sport with Premium/Nav is going to be cheaper than that.

I think the price loaded had better be under 40k, more like under 38k. You can get a 335i sedan with premium and cold weather package for 38k if you do European delivery at $1000 over invoice. To be competitive to me, I better be able to get the G with premium, nav, and maybe even tech package for less than this, otherwise I'd probably get the BMW.
Well,
With all this said. And after my horrible M35x attempt, Im looking at a 2007 g35x in garnet ember with anything but black leather. I dont really need navigation, being that I never leave manhattan. So I would be looking at only premium package C. I would like to do a 3 year lease, and do whatever I can do to keept he payments at or below 450 a month. Does anyone think this is possible in November?

I, based purley on my own thoughts, believe the G35S fully loaded without the rear wing or active steer package (how I would order it) will come to about 40k even. The last G35 sedan loaded was 38-39k, so a 1k increase is perfectly understandable. I guess some of you should just go get the 335i now (which btw, comparably equipped with a loaded G35S, is around 50k).
