My Infiniti rep said all the pre-release cars were either Liquid Platinum, Blue Slate (repalced Twilight Blue) and Platinum Graphite (replaced Diamond Graphite). I saw the Ivory Pearl at a meeting and it looked really nice.

2. Not sure - but I am quite certain it is linked to the gauge lighting and can be adjusted.
Nice; VERY nice.
Thanks for the closeup bro.

I have a slot like that on my Civic. It's a shifter override...like you stick in the key (I assume the valet key for the new G) and it'll let you change the transmission gear w/o the car being on (for when the battery dies).

There is way too much aluminum trim IMO. It looks stupid / cheap IMO. Infiniti should have toned down the amount of aluminum trim or harmonized it with wood trim.

Just imagine how nice that sport would have looked with wood trim

Some say Infiniti would be dumb to put a spoiler on the sports as standard equipment because many people don't like spoilers and that would make them buy the less expensive non-sport instead.

But on the otherhand, you've got lots of people who love the wood trim that are not going to be able to get it on the sport and decide to go with the cheaper non-sport instead.

Not making the wood trim available on the most expensive sport model when it's a $400 option on cheaper models non-sport models has got to be one of the dumbest moves I have seen.

I WANT the SPORT with WOOD TRIM!!!

Quick question regarding the doors - do they have these stoppers in the hinges? you know like in the German cars, where it "clicks" half way open and again when it's opened all the way out?

I agree. I'd like to get the Sport model with wood trim. However, since I've never seen it in person, I can't comment on the washi aluminum trim until I'm actually up close and personal. Who knows, that might just change my mind when I'm slobering all over the dash the first time I climb in the drivers seat.

That's a great color combo though and will most likely be my choice if I decide to order one. Platinum Ice w/Graphite. My other 2 choices of colors "were" Ivory Pearl and Lakeshore Slate.........but since neither of them are available with graphite leather, I guess I'll just stick with Platinum Ice.

Having seen it in person, this Aluminum trim does not look cheap or plasticy.
I think it looks classy.

But they should give all trim options on all models - why restrict your target buyers with something silly as trim ?

In any case, hopefully wood would be either an easy thing to add on later or something that Infiniti would add to sports models later in the production runs.

Yeah - that probably makes sense ... they only ran a few colors in pre-production (to keep costs down maybe ?)

We should see all colors in just over 4 wks @dealers nationwide

Laser or Radar range finder for the CC - typical Infiniti annoyances. They could have done a better job w/the integration of this unit - IE: BMW <see attached>

BTW - nice pics and the car looks great otherwise; love the new interior. This looks just like the one I have on order.

Does anyone else feel the "bumpy" buttons are a huge step backwards? What's wrong with flush buttons!?
