Nav Package - XM and Sirius?

According to the official "specs.doc" that is linked someplace around here, the Navigation Package will include XM, with or without a trial subscription. Does that mean that those choosing the Navigation package can't get Sirius as a separate option? Nissаn is going XM-only in a year or so anyway, like Hondа is already, so that wouldn't surprise me. I'm not a Howard Stern fan, so doing without Sirius is entirely bearable for me, but Howard fans may beg to differ ...

I'd much rather have sirius, but only because they seem to have more public radio offerings.

They're tiring to get you to subscribe to the XM traffic thing, too. There is a separate option for satellite radio. Maybe you need to add that in order to get your system swapped with Sirius.

That's because Sirius doesn't work on the metric system.

I think it means you will have the car "pre-wired" for SAT. If you choose a provider, you will then need to add probably another $500 for the receiver.

The free 3-month XM trial -- does that include the live traffic report feature? If so, what if after 3 months I only want the traffic subscription and not the music on... can I get have it separately?

Wait, so that $9.95 includes both music AND the live traffic? So for those cars that only have the radio option, they're paying the same price but lacking the live traffic report?
