Ordered My 07 G35S in Toronto last Week!!
Guys ... I am surprised they are taking anything off of a brand new car. Even though you are a loyal customer, I wouldn't think they'd have to give you anything but MSRP. Hey ... more power to you if you can get a discount.
To those who haven't bought a car yet ... I seriously advise you to look up a US dealership nearest to you and think about importing a G over. (There are dealerships which specialize in the process!) You will save thousands over the equivalent Canadian model. You'll have to pay 6.2% import tax plus the regular sales taxes (PST + GST). Only real headache is going to Canadian Tire so it will pass inspection (ie working DRL, speedo has km/h) and that's it. However, those who wish to lease can only be do it within Canada.
Honest ... a little research and the money saved can go towards mods. I'm just waiting for the Detroit Autoshow to see what the other companies are bringing out. Definitely going to check out the Nissan / Infiniti exhibit so they can tell me when the G coupe will be coming out! Money I save will go towards Volk rims.

After my test drive today, the GM told me they won't know pricing until AFTER the launch event. So, probably early/mid Nov, then the first batch of cars arrive in dealerships across the country.
This is simply not true, they have pricing already. There was a launch in Whistler where the car was introduced to all Cdn. dealers and where they received the pricing. Not sure why some dealers are choosing to hold back on this information but mine priced the car for me already. Infiniti has raised their pricing by only $300 over last years models is what I was told.

There should be no problem getting a loaded G35 AWD or sport for $50K...
