Quick question for anyone, do you know if they invitations for the unveiling of the 07 G35 is for G35 owners only? I bought my new FX at the beginning of the year but I am interested in replacing my other car by the new 07 G. I called the sales person that sold me the car about 3 weeks ago and asked him to let me know as soon as the car arrived and no word from him either. I know all the dealers have the demo cars at this point.

No, it's not. If you're signed up for your dealership's mailing list, you should've received an e-mail invite at the very least. If you haven't, simply call your dealership and they'll add you (and your guests) to the event.

^ Seriously, if you are a crasher, I doubt they'll kick you out. Any potential buyer is a welcome guest at any car dealership. I've gone to a few MB / BMW events without invitations ... no one's shown me the door. (It doesn't hurt when you drive a 'nice' car to the event ...)

The bid I got from my nearest deаlership for the 8/26 event lists hours of 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM for the event, but their sаles department is usually open to 9:00 PM on Thursdays. I seriously doubt that they're going to close the showroom and have a private party for three hours. The purpose of the invitations is to encourage interested parties to turn out, not to keep anyone away, so anyone who doesn't have an invitation should show up for the event at the deаlership of their choice anyway. Tell 'em DWP sent ya.

One of the Bay Area dealerships are actually doing theirs a day early, and from 7-9pm (to cater to busy working professionals like myself, perhaps). Another dealership is sticking to the Oct 26 date, but the event will start at 12pm until 8pm.

Wonder if each dealership is on their own to present the car? I would go if the dealership that invited me were closer, and if the salesman would have returned my call after he found out I was interested in a 2k7, not a 2k6...

Now he's calling, but it's too late. Still, would like to know the price, because for 99% of the people out there, it does matter! I liked the series Murder She Wrote as much as the next guy, but the mystery shrouding the MSRP is truly weird! I think it's a marketing blunder, but maybe Infiniti will prove me wrong and it will cause people to pay much more this way??

don't just come and eat all the food... i'll be watching everyone!

also, pricing is important also b/c i'm thinking about the '07 as well but they probably won't reveal pricing until after the party so the anticipation on the new G will still be in everyone's heads
