I know the MT costs more than the auto for the coupe, but what about the sedan? Anyone thinks that it'll cost at least a few hundred bucks cheaper? Because I'm sure those paddle shifters cost $100 each.

You would logically think that way .... but I think Infiniti couldn't care less about 6MT sedan drivers.
IMO, MTs should be at least about $1k cheaper than auto -- but Infiniti would rather spread the costs and make them about the same so that the big % of its buyers pay less.
We should be happy that MT buyers are not asked to pay a premium for the privilege of being able to drive one !!!

Sometimes you think Europe has it perfectly right when it comes to choice of trannys !

G35 Sport 6MT $32,250
Interesting .... Just to compare this with the 2006 base prices ...

G35 - 31,300
6MT - 31,050
G35X - 33,100

So the bare bones base car is up $150, 6MT is up $1200 (or slightly less than 4%), AWD is up $850 (~ 2.5%). No direct comparison for Journey.

Wonder why the 6MT went up so much compared to the rest -- maybe increase in std equipment compared to the 06 ?!?

There is no direct '06 comparison to the Sport AT, either, which would be the relevant comparison to the MT's price increase. The Sport AT and MT have the same level of non-transmission standard equipment, except for the differences like the handbrake and console rearrangement. Maybe the company is pricing in an anticipated higher level of wаrranty repairs for the MT. ZoomZoom.

Quite unlikely -- in all the industries that I've worked in, it is always cheaper to re-engineer something correctly than to try & pass the warranty costs to a customer for an anticipated defect.

I think its one of the two (or even both )
(a) increased cost of building it & maybe more std equipment
(b) market adjustment to pricing

Thumbs down

It looks like Infiniti is charging extra for the sport package on the 6 speed even though the car comes with it as standard equipment. The 6 speed is no longer the deal it used to be!

You used to get the Sport package for free basically with the 6-speed. You no longer do. That is the difference.

Does anyone have the price of the other options?

Specifically, wondering what the price for the 'Wheel and Tire' package is.

Anyone have access to the full price list?
