Pricing is in!

), I say it's all about doing your research, shopping around, and knowing how to negotiate and "work the deal" (just like the dealers do). You should think of it as a game b/c they do. I also made my dealer throw in window tint at n/c and alum. pedals at n/c (the 335i doesn't come w/ alum. pedals std...dealer installed option).
Now, if all this is possible with a hot car that came out 9/1/06, then I think it should be more than likely that anybody should be able to get $$ off MSRP on the new '07 G35 Sedan as well, even if it's just as hot (or hotter) as the BMW 335i. The dealers won't want to budge at first, but I think with a little persistence and a lot of knowledge, it can be done.
You can always try the "Ok...no money off the G35 Sedan. Hmmm, well, then I guess you've forced me to go across the street to the BMW dealer to compare the BMW 335i..." See if that gets their attention.

The thing is there will always be folks in a must have situation--any good salesperson will put out feelers if you are one of them. That's the person who drives a hard bargain, doesn't get it, and rather than get up off of his duff and walk, he caves in. We can all read internet forums, we can all go to edmunds.com. But when a dealership wont give us the price we feel we should get, are we willing to drive another 5-8 miles to the next dealership, or are we the kid who says we'll hold our breaths until our faces turn blue?
btw what did you get on your 335 that got the list up like that, active steer and cruise? Have you picked up your ride yet?? I saw someone at e90post who said he got 2180 off list, and then he was paying a 180 training fee? Dealers have so many ways to give themselves add'l revenue.....gotta watch out for that.

There was some mkt fee that he paid to BMW that was ~500, not on emdunds.com. Also, when I sent a friend to the same dealership after me, they would not budge off $500 off list, that's it.

Especially after you just walked over from the Bimmer dealer where they are charging fifty thousand dollars for the 335i. Not saying the Bimmer isn't worth they dough. Just saying, the G sure looks attractive when it's priced loaded in the high 30s.
The new G is still a great deal. As far as I'm concerned, even if you pay full sticker you are still getting a great deal. It's priced like an Audi 2.0tq or Passat 3.6 Haldex. And the new interior is finally on par with those other cars, or at least closer this time around.
